Google’s much anticipated October 5th announcement has seen them release a swathe of new devices. As rumored, Google’s biggest product launch ever includes two new ‘Pixel’ smartphones as well as ‘Daydream View’ a Virtual Reality headset, and ‘Google Home’, a voice activated smart speaker.
Available in both 5-inch and 5.5 inch screen size, the ‘Pixel’ smartphones are part of the company’s latest efforts to challenge Apple’s iPhone dominance, and come with a 12 megapixel rear camera, unlimited cloud storage for photos and videos AND a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Some sources have stated that even though ”Made by Google” shows on the display screen, HTC, the firm behind the very first Nexus device, is the backbone of the newly released smartphone.
